Since it’s last day of 2012 I think I can review my cycling and running totals without the chance of them needing an update – the rest of today is probably going to involve a quick nap followed by an evening barbequing and watching the New Year fireworks.

Overall, I’m pretty happy with how things turned out both in mileage and fitness terms, though I’ve been neglecting my running for the last couple of weeks due to a combination of training courses and focusing my efforts on the Rapha Festive 500 (more on that later).
2013 Starts in about 7.5 hours, and will no doubt begin with my now traditional easy few laps of the park. After that, I’ll track my recovery from the last week and hopefully put the mileage in my legs to good use with some smart training.
